Dr. Hank Christen, PhD
In-depth experience in fire, EMS, emergency management and terrorism response operations. Co-author (with Paul Maniscalco) of eight books and field guides in the disaster response and terrorism fields.
Graduated as a Doctor of Education (Human Performance Technology specialty) in May, 2009. The doctoral dissertation was related to the efficacy of simulations for paramedic training.
Current projects include writing a book on Dynamic Resilience, teaching undergraduate courses at Pensacola State College, graduate courses at The George Washington University and Capella University and ongoing planning and teaching with the Florida-1 Disaster Medical Assistance Team (Fl-1 DMAT).
Hobbies include travel, reading, offshore powerboat racing and flying radio-controlled helicopters.
